I think this article is much more informed of the concerns: http://dailygleaner.canadaeast.com/search/article/703254

According to the Acadian Lines VP Marketing person, people do not walk to the bus station. She is wrong. People walk to the bus station every single day. Four of my friends walked to the bus station in the past 2 days alone. The Conservation Council will continue to promote accessible transportation for the people of Fredericton. Not sure why today’s Gleaner editorial is so hostile to the Conservation Council adding their voices to those wanting our city to ensure a downtown bus station for its citizens. Governments should intervene on private matters when their actions affect the rest of us.
