350 International Day of Action on Climate Change!
October 24, 2009
350 is the safe upper limit of parts per million of carbon in our atmosphere. On October 24th, millions around the world will gather to call on governments to take action to bring carbon levels down to 350ppm (currently we are at 387ppm).
In Fredericton, a rally will take place at 12pm on Saturday, October 24th at the old Acadian Bus Lines terminal at the corner of Regent and Brunswick.
In Saint John, a rally will be held at the Market Square Boardwalk from 1-2pm

The Fredericton Chapter of the Conservation Council of New Brunswick invites you to a public meeting to share your views on the proposal to move the Acadian Bus Lines terminal to Woodside Lane. Mayor Woodside, city councillors, and Acadian Bus Lines representatives will all be invited to attend and hear what you have to say! Bring your concerns and suggestions.
